Volkswagen unveiled the VW Passat in 1973, some 37 years ago. It is a large family car that sits between the VW Golf and the VW Phaeton. The Passat is available as a 4 door saloon, a 5 door estate and a 4 door coupe. In 2010, VW gave the Passat B7 a facelift to bring it in line with the current VW design ethos. Even though VW call it a facelift, the Passat actually had every single panel changed except for the roof and glasshouse.
